Summary of position:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, completing bi-monthly payroll, ensuring compliance, and assisting with audits. This position reports into the Executive Director and is overseen by the President/CEO. Bachelor's degree in finance or closely related discipline as well as two years' experience in bookkeeping and finance roles required. Proficiency in GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), knowledge of financial concepts, debits, credits, and experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred.
